I adore this bell!
Originally created to identify cattle in India, these bells each produce a slightly different sound and are beautiful and interesting home decorations - for inside or outdoors.
They are made from iron using a thousand-year-old metal craft known as “Ghantadi” in Kutch in the Indian state of Gujurat.
They are made from scrap iron sheets that are beaten to join together to give the desired shape (all without welding!) and then coated primarily with copper, along with a few other metals.
